Actress Kim Go Eun’s most lovely and elegant moments have been captured in a new pictorial.
Kim Go Eun graces the cover of the March issue of ELLE. In the latest shoot, she exudes refined elegance while showcasing her signature charm.
In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, Kim Go Eun spoke about portraying Yumi in her 30s in 'Yumi’s Cells 3,' set to premiere four years after the previous season. Now a successful star author, Yumi enters a new chapter of life. “I allowed myself to fully imagine what Yumi’s life would be like after becoming a successful writer,” she said. “I wondered, ‘How would Yumi, in her mid-to-late 30s, view the world?’ Even as time passes, she still retains her own lovable qualities, and there are traces of clumsiness hidden here and there.”
She added with a smile, “On set, I was often called Yumi more than Go Eun. I filmed with that pleasant sense of familiarity.”
When asked how she manages to give her best each day, Kim Go Eun shared, “During difficult moments, I quietly repeat to myself, ‘This too shall pass.’ Some days feel overwhelmingly heavy, but after a good night’s sleep, things can suddenly feel clear again. If worrying excessively about the future or planning everything guaranteed it would all unfold exactly as expected, of course, we would do that. But life isn’t so predictable. So I think what matters most is enduring today well and living each day with joy.”
As for what appears most beautiful to her now, she responded, “People who faithfully live their own lives. I often think about those who have already passed through the stage of life I am currently experiencing. When I reflect on that, I realize how radiant our ‘now’ truly is. That’s why I hope to carry out all the projects I have planned for this year smoothly and successfully.”
