In light of the ongoing "poor character" controversy surrounding ALPHA DRIVE ONE member Kim Geon Woo, the idols label Wake One Entertainment has issued an updated statement pronouncing its stance on rumors, malicious attacks, and infringement of artists' rights.

"Hello, this is Wake One.
First and foremost, we bow our heads in gratitude to the fans who show their unchanging love and support for our agency's artists.
Wake One has recently observed with frustration the indiscriminate spread of malicious slander and false rumors targeting our agency's artists on various online communities and SNS platforms.
Currently, our agency's artists are doing their absolute best to achieve growth.
Yet, the spread of various attacks, defamatory remarks, and false rumors, including attacks directed at the artists' outer appearances as well as their character, has caused deep and lasting scars on not only the artists, but also the fans.
Wake One strongly believes that it is the agency's most urgent responsibility to protect that rights and the honor of our artists (ZEROBASEONE and ALPHA DRIVE ONE), and we have partnered with Law Firm Sejong to proceed with legal action against any acts which infringe on our artists' rights.
Please be reminded that spreading unconfirmed and speculative contents directed against a specific individual and furthermore attacking said individual counts as a grave offense. We earnestly ask that you refrain from acts involving baseless slander, attacks on character, disclosure of private information, and all others that cross the line.
Wake One will continue to act consistently and accountably for the protection of our artists' rights.
