Actress Goo Hye Sun revealed a life-changing experience that shifted her mindset, sharing candid reflections on a difficult period in her life.
On February 27, the YouTube channel Sebasi Talk uploaded a video titled, 'First Time Revealing the Story: What Went Through Goo Hye Sun’s Mind the Moment She Jumped.' In the video, Goo Hye Sun spoke openly about past struggles, saying, “There was a time when I was really struggling. There were moments when I thought, ‘I really want to die.’”

She went on to describe a pivotal experience: “I was driving when I saw a parachute falling in the distance. People were skydiving. On impulse, I decided to try it myself. There were seven people on the helicopter, and all of us were in a place where we had thoughts of wanting to die.”
Goo Hye Sun said the experience fundamentally changed her perspective. “When I was told to jump, all the many parts of me wanted to live. The moment I jumped, I realized how much I wanted to live. Those few seconds, all the way until I touched the ground, I realized I wasn’t someone who wanted to die. All seven of us said, ‘We’re so glad we lived.’”
She also reflected on her personal philosophy, adding, “I truly believe that what you believe in comes true. You have to trust yourself, not others, and be your own best friend. In an unpredictable future, I acknowledge that I could break again. I could rise, fall, and shatter. But I think about how new and beautiful that could be.”
Goo Hye Sun’s candid confession has drawn attention, highlighting her resilience and the transformative power of confronting life’s most difficult moments.
