G-DRAGON successfully completed his first ever official performance in the Middle East since debut, drawing explosive cheers from approximately 20,000 fans and expanding his global reach into the region.

On February 17th (local time), G-DRAGON headlined the ‘KRAZY SUPER CONCERT’ at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre in United Arab Emirates. Marking his first official stage in the Middle East, the performance carried industry significance as it extended his activities beyond North America and Europe into a new market.

The concert opened with ‘INTRO,’ immediately igniting the crowd with ‘PO₩ER.’ He continued with hit tracks including ‘HOME SWEET HOME (feat. TAEYANG, DAESUNG),’ ‘Crayon,’ ‘TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak),’ and ‘Crooked,’ leading the audience into massive sing along moments. During ‘Crooked,’ fans transcended language and nationality, filling the venue with a unified chorus that highlighted the strength of his global fandom.

In terms of stage execution, G-DRAGON demonstrated polished control. He actively engaged with local fans between songs, enhancing immersion, while his restrained movements and charismatic performance firmly established his presence as a headliner. The Dubai show stood out not merely as an overseas schedule, but as a notable example of K pop’s expanding global footprint.

For the occasion, G-DRAGON styled himself in a red brick toned tailored jacket paired with a pink inner layer and black wide leg pants, subtly evoking the desert hues of Dubai. The refined tailoring and symbolic color narrative visually expressed his connection with local fans, once again reinforcing his status as a global fashion icon who seamlessly links space and storytelling through style.

Major international media outlets also spotlighted his Dubai performance. Billboard covered the global expansion of the concert series while highlighting G-DRAGON as the event’s headliner. Forbes introduced his Middle East debut as an example of a leading K pop artist expanding market influence. Dubai based outlet Gulf News, cultural media Time Out Dubai, major UAE daily Khaleej Times, and Abu Dhabi based national outlet The National also reported extensively on the event, underscoring strong local interest in his first Middle East stage.

Recently, G-DRAGON won ‘Best Song’ for ‘TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)’ and was also named in the ‘Artist of the Year’ category at the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards, achieving a double crown. The awards reflect real time global album and digital data, reinforcing that his influence is supported not only by fandom power but also by tangible consumption metrics. The recognition, coming immediately after his Dubai concert, further demonstrates that his global impact continues to accumulate through measurable achievements.

Meanwhile, G-DRAGON recently held his first solo fan meeting since debut, ‘2026 G-DRAGON ’FAM’ MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU]’, in Seoul from February 6th to 8th and in Yokohama from February 13th to 15th. He will continue connecting with fans at upcoming fan meetings in Bangkok on the 21st and 22nd.
