CATCH THE YOUNG drew attention with a stage focused on sound and live performance.
CATCH THE YOUNG (Kang San I, An Ki Hoon, Kim Nam Hyun, Lee Jun Yong, Choi Jung Mo) released a performance video for "Amplify," the title track from their first full album ‘EVOLVE,’ through their official social media on February 1st KST.
Through the "Amplify" performance shown in the video, CATCH THE YOUNG focused on expressing the song’s direct energy through instrument-driven execution. Even within restrained staging, the members demonstrated tight synergy in line with the song’s flow, further elevating the density of the band sound.
Centered around vocalist Kim Nam Hyun, Kang San I and Lee Jun Yong added strength to the live performance, completing the band’s signature layered sound. The bass and guitar duet sections placed throughout the track also clearly highlighted the band groove that ‘Amplify’ aims to deliver.
In particular, the composition, where each part did not remain fixed in one position but moved dynamically while participating in the performance, naturally showcased CATCH THE YOUNG’s experience and energy. As the song progressed, the structure in which the sound built up step by step was fully realized on stage, heightening immersion.
‘Amplify’ is a new wave rock track that minimizes programmed elements and brings the members’ live playing and band groove to the forefront, characterized by a sound arrangement designed with live performance settings in mind. This performance video faithfully captures the nature of the song through on-stage playing and group synergy.
Meanwhile, CATCH THE YOUNG released their first full album ‘EVOLVE’ on February 19th, presenting a musical direction centered on 'YOUTH POP ROCK', and continues to meet listeners through various stages.
