BTS member Jimin has once again proven the buzz around his real-life visuals, ranking first in a poll for “the star whose charm cannot be fully captured on camera.”
Jimin topped the survey conducted by fan voting platform MY1PICK, earning 36,947 votes, or 71 percent of the total. Beyond a simple popularity vote, the result numerically confirmed the long-standing reputation built on countless first-hand accounts from those who have seen him in person.
Among fans and industry insiders both in Korea and abroad, Jimin is often described as “an artist the camera cannot keep up with.” While his appearance in photos and videos is already striking, many say the atmosphere and visuals he exudes in real life feel on an entirely different level.

Photographer Lee Myung Sook, who worked with Jimin on a Vogue magazine photo shoot in 2021, previously shared her impressions, saying, “His frontal close-up structure is so perfect that when you sit across from him, you get pulled right in. I had to struggle to regain my composure,” and added, “You fall for him even more in person.”
Professional bodyguards who have spent years protecting K-pop artists also vouched for his visuals through Channel A’s digital platform, commenting, “We see many celebrities without makeup, and when you look at Jimin, the word ‘pretty’ truly fits.”
Reactions from fans who have attended concerts echo similar sentiments. Comments such as “Jimin has the aura of the biggest main character,” “He looks like a Greek sculpture,” “Photos can never capture him,” and “His real-life visuals are shocking” have continuously circulated across social media.
Following BTS’s full-group comeback promotions, Jimin is scheduled to take the stage at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. As it will be a rare opportunity for fans to see him up close again, anticipation is rising to once more witness the presence of “the Jimin cameras miss” in person.
