Rookie band AxMxP is once again turning heads with an unexpected but impressive chart pattern.
The group is currently gaining strong momentum with the second title track from their first mini album, “Thereafter." The song ranked No. 4 on YouTube’s weekly trending music video chart during the third week of the month and has held the No. 1 spot on the platform’s daily music video chart for three consecutive days starting on the 22nd.
Interestingly, this “second title track surge” mirrors their debut era. After officially debuting last September, AxMxP drew attention with their second title track “Shocking Drama,” earning recognition as one of the most promising rising K bands.
The delayed popularity of their follow up title tracks has naturally extended their promotional cycle, creating a unique success formula where the public gradually embraces the later release.
AxMxP also solidified their rising status at the 2nd The Awards on the 11th, taking home two trophies including The Awards Discovery “Rookie of the Year” and The Awards Remark. The group even opened the ceremony with a special collaboration stage.
Looking ahead, AxMxP plans to expand their live presence, performing at Rolling Hall’s 31st Anniversary concert “DO IT MY WAY” on March 7 and at the major outdoor music festival “Beautiful Mint Life” on May 30.
With back to back buzz around their second title tracks, AxMxP continues to prove they are a rookie band to watch.
