Actor Song Kang is making his return. His first project after completing military service will be a music-themed drama.
On January 26, tvN’s upcoming drama 'Four Hands' (written by Shin Yi Won, directed by Park Hyun Seok) officially announced its cast, confirming Song Kang, Lee Jun Young, and Jang Gyu Ri as the lead actors.
'Four Hands' is a youth drama that follows friendship, love, rivalry, and personal growth among students who meet at an arts high school. The series is helmed by director Park Hyun Seok, with Shin Yi Won serving as screenwriter.
Song Kang takes on the role of Kang Bi Oh, a piano prodigy blessed not only with natural talent but also with unwavering diligence. However, he is thrown into inner conflict when he comes face-to-face with a formidable rival.
Lee Jun Young plays Choi Jung Yo, Bi Oh’s rival and a piano genius in his own right. After turning his back on his talent due to a difficult upbringing, Jung Yo suddenly appears at an elite arts high school filled exclusively with prodigies.
Jang Gyu Ri stars as Hong Jae In, a viola major with exceptionally sensitive hearing. She becomes Bio’s closest friend, having supported his music since childhood, as it was the only sound that truly satisfied her ears.
The three characters find their lives deeply intertwined through music. A representative of the production shared, “Their fierce clashes and growth will deliver an exhilarating rush of dopamine to viewers.”
Four Hands is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
