Model and influencer Lee Sian, who drew attention through her appearance on 'Solo Inferno Season 4,' has candidly shared her experience with the side effects of Wegovy.
On January 9, a video titled ‘Rapid Weight Gain, Rapid Weight Loss Home Care Routine’ was uploaded to her YouTube channel Final Sian, where Lee opened up about her decision to try the weight-loss medication.
In the video, Lee explained, “It was sometime during the summer. Everyone around me was using Wegovy, so I thought, ‘I can’t fall behind the trend. I have to try it, no matter what.’ I bought the lowest dosage and injected it for about a month.”
She went on to describe how the side effects began to appear in the third week. “I kept taking it for one or two weeks without seeing any effects, but starting in the third week, I suddenly felt severe motion sickness in my stomach. It felt like I was nauseous all day, like I had indigestion nonstop. Even in the car, I felt carsick. I was constantly nauseous and felt like I was going to throw up, but I couldn’t.”
Lee added, “After that third injection, I lived like I’d completely lost my mind for three days. I couldn’t even go to the bathroom properly. That’s when I realized, ‘This just doesn’t suit my body,’ so I stopped.”
While acknowledging some short-term weight loss, she emphasized that the experience wasn’t worth it for her. “I did lose about one to two kilograms temporarily because of the side effects, but when I really thought about whether this was a healthy method for me, it just wasn’t. I honestly envy people who respond well to Wegovy,” she said. “For me, the answer is simply eating well and exercising consistently.”
Lee Sian’s honest confession has sparked conversation online, with many viewers appreciating her transparency about the realities and risks behind trending weight-loss treatments.
