Seventeen's DxS (DK & Seungkwan) are making waves on global music charts.
The duo reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Viral Songs chart in countries including Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia with “Blue,” the title track from their first mini album 'Serenade' (as of January 26).
Spotify’s Daily Viral Songs chart tracks songs experiencing rapid increases in streams and shares. In addition to their No. 1 rankings, DK and Seungkwan also entered the Top 10 on the same chart in multiple other countries.
The song ranked No. 3 in Hong Kong and Taiwan, No. 6 in Singapore, and No. 9 in South Korea, an exceptional achievement for a traditional ballad rather than a dance track.
Their first unit album has also been garnering much attention. 'Serenade' debuted at No. 195 on the U.S. Billboard 200 (dated January 31). In Japan, it placed No. 3 on Oricon’s Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking (dated January 26). In China, the album topped QQ Music’s Weekly Digital Bestselling Albums chart for the tracking period from January 9 to 15.
'Serenade' centers on the theme of ordinary love and features a total of six tracks. Among them, “Blue” captures the complex emotions that arise when two people in love find their steps falling out of sync.
