According to an exclusive report by MyDaily on January 28, Ahn Eun Jin is currently set to star in KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama 'Another Love But You' (literally translated title). The series follows long-term couples standing at the crossroads of marriage who are swept into unexpected emotional turmoil after encountering new romantic relationships.
Ahn Eun Jin has reportedly been offered the role of Lee Mi Do, a film director who shines brightest on set. The character is portrayed as a charismatic figure who combines striking looks with a commanding presence. Despite having a boyfriend, Lee Mi Do becomes conflicted after developing unexpected feelings for someone new.
Seo Kang Jun is said to be cast as Nam Goong Ho, an office worker who is drawn into an unforeseen emotional whirlwind after confronting the wavering heart of his long-time partner.
A representative from Ahn Eun Jin’s agency, UAA, stated, “She has received an offer for the drama 'Another Love But You' and is currently reviewing it.”
Ahn Eun Jin has built a strong filmography through dramas such as 'Hospital Playlist 2,' 'The Good Bad Mother,' 'My Dearest,' and 'Dynamite Kiss,' as well as films including 'The Night Owl' and 'Citizen of a Kind.'
She recently earned the nickname “rom-com queen” following her performance in SBS’s romantic comedy 'Dynamite Kiss,' which concluded last year. In the series, she played Go Da Rim, a single woman who disguises herself as a mother to land a job for financial survival. Her performance earned her the Excellence Award at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards.
Previously, Ahn Eun Jin received widespread love for her charming portrayal in 'Hospital Playlist 2.' After taking on a wide range of roles across film and television, she further cemented her status as a leading actress in the 2023 MBC drama 'My Dearest,' where she delivered a deeply emotional romance alongside Nam Goong Min. That year, she won the Top Excellence Award at the MBC Drama Awards.
Seo Kang Jun also achieved a major milestone by winning his first Grand Prize at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards. He received high praise for his steady and compelling performance in 'Undercover High School,' where he carried the drama with notable presence. While many MBC dramas last year struggled to surpass the 10% ratings mark, Undercover High School recorded a solid 8.3% viewership, signaling commercial success.
Upon receiving the award, Seo Kang Jun shared, “Rather than feeling happy, I was extremely flustered and surprised. This was the first project I filmed after returning from the military, and I missed the set so much. I’ve always told myself to stay grateful and cherish every moment after acting for over 10 years, but I think I may have forgotten that without realizing it. Receiving such a heavy award through Undercover High School left me truly stunned.”
He added candidly, “I think deeply about my acting, but when I look around, there are so many people who work harder and are more talented. I often wonder, ‘Why am I holding this award?’ or ‘Do I really deserve this place on set?’ In the end, I can only think that I was lucky.” He concluded with a confident resolve, saying, “I don’t know how long I’ll be able to do this job, but until the end, I don’t want to be replaceable by anyone.”
Seo Kang Jun is expected to return to the romance genre with this project. Although he has recently focused on genre-driven works, he previously received strong praise for his emotionally driven performances in romantic dramas such as 'Cheese in the Trap,' 'The Third Charm,' and 'When the Weather Is Fine.'
