Members of KiiiKiii shared their first impressions of their new title track “404 (New Era).”
At the media showcase for their second mini album ‘Delulu Pack,’ held at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 26th, member Kya said, “When we all listened to the title track together for the first time, we felt it was truly fresh. It was a new sound we hadn’t heard anywhere before. We were excited because it felt like it could show a new color of KiiiKiii.”
Member Jiyu added, “Not just the title track, but every song on the album was so good that we kept saying, ‘This one’s good, that one’s good.’ We talked a lot among ourselves about the tracks included on the album.”
‘Delulu Pack’ is an album that expresses KiiiKiii’s New Year’s wish to exist freely anywhere as their present selves, interpreted in the group’s own unique way. Rather than changing the framework of reality, the album reflects KiiiKiii’s independent attitude by adding new colors, textures, and narratives to create fresh scenes.
The album features a total of six tracks, including the title song “404 (New Era),” along with “Delulu,” “UNDERDOGS,” “Meongnyang,” “Dizzy,” and “To Me From Me (Prod. TABLO).”
The title track “404 (New Era)” draws from KiiiKiii’s own language, reinterpreting the familiar website error code “404 Not Found” as “freedom that exists without coordinates.” Set to lively UK house and garage rhythms, the song blends the members’ powerful rapping with delicate vocals.
KiiiKiii’s new release is available on major online music platforms starting today (the 26th) at 6 p.m. KST.
