
Singer Jeong Dong Won, JD1, has unveiled a heartfelt live remake as a special pre-release ahead of his upcoming album and military enlistment.
On January 26, Jeong Dong Won released a candidate track live video through his official YouTube channel, raising anticipation for his remake mini-album 'Souvenir Collection Vol.2', set to be released on February 5.

The first song revealed is 'Winter Letter', originally sung by Yim Jae Beum. Jeong Dong Won reinterprets the classic with his signature warm tone, delicately conveying the song’s poignant emotions and leaving a lingering impression. His restrained yet emotionally resonant vocal delivery highlights a matured sensibility, drawing listeners in with quiet intensity.
Ahead of the live release, Jeong Dong Won also shared a series of image teasers on his official social media channels on January 19 and 23. In the photos, he stands against a green-toned background, exuding a mysterious atmosphere while showcasing a noticeably more mature visual. Whether gazing into a mirror or making direct eye contact with the camera, the images capture a blend of deepened emotion and a dreamlike mood.

'Souvenir Collection Vol.2' marks the second installment of Jeong Dong Won’s remake project, which reinterprets iconic songs from different eras through his own emotional lens.
Meanwhile, Jeong Dong Won is set to hold a special fan concert on February 13 at KINTEX in Ilsan, giving fans a chance to meet him in person before his military enlistment.
