IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has once again showcased her musical talents by taking part in the lyric-writing process for the group’s upcoming pre-release track.
According to an IZE report on January 21, IVE will release a pre-release song ahead of their official comeback album scheduled for February. The group is currently preparing for a late-February comeback and plans to unveil the new track, titled “BANG BANG,” sometime in February as a pre-release.
Notably, “BANG BANG” features Jang Wonyoung among its lyricists. In addition to Wonyoung, lyricists Seo Ji Eum, Hwang Yubin (XYXX), and EXY also participated in writing the song. Wonyoung previously received praise from fans for contributing lyrics to “XOXZ,” the title track of IVE’s fourth mini album 'IVE SECRET,' released last year.
Over time, Jang Wonyoung has consistently taken part in lyric writing for several of IVE’s songs, demonstrating her abilities beyond her role as a group member. Her continued involvement in the creative process has drawn growing attention and anticipation from music fans regarding her future as a K-pop artist.
Meanwhile, IVE is actively gearing up for their February comeback. In the early hours of January 21, a video titled “COMING SOON” was released on the group’s official YouTube channel IVE. The video features Jang Wonyoung, further fueling curiosity and excitement among fans over how the teaser connects to the upcoming album.
