
Actress Goo Hye Sun publicly shared the plagiarism screening results for her master’s thesis, drawing attention once again to her early graduation from graduate school.
On January 13, Goo Hye Sun uploaded her graduation photos to social media along with an official plagiarism check report, revealing that her thesis recorded a plagiarism rate of just 1 percent. She wrote, “The plagiarism rate is 1%. I will continue to work harder. Thank you for all the encouragement and support.”

According to the disclosed document, the thesis was reviewed through the CopyKiller plagiarism detection system, which confirmed the 1 percent similarity rate. Previously, on January 8, Goo Hye Sun announced her early graduation by sharing a photo of her completed master’s thesis cover on social media, stating, “My master’s thesis has passed, and I will be graduating early.” She added playfully, “The freshly bound thesis has arrived. Next is… a PhD (?!). Let’s go!”
Her thesis is titled 'The Fifth Wall: Reprojection in the Age of One-Person Media.' Previously, Goo Hye Sun revealed that she re-enrolled in the Department of Film and Visual Arts at Sungkyunkwan University in 2020 and went on to graduate as the top student of her class, later sharing news of her acceptance into the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism.
In addition to her academic achievements, Goo Hye Sun recently shared that her eco-friendly hair roller invention, KOO Roll, was selected as a recipient of the '2025 Excellent Patent Award,' further highlighting her diverse activities beyond acting.
