BTS member V has released his second photobook, ‘Type V (TYPE 非)', marking his first photobook project in two years.
‘Type V’ follows V’s previous release ‘Type 1’, published in 2024. While ‘type 1’ focused on capturing V’s natural, everyday moments, the new photobook explores a wider range of concepts that cross formats and genres.
Spanning 278 pages across 20 chapters, ‘Type’ showcases diverse visual styles, with V taking part directly in the planning process as well as the overall photoshoot to enhance the project’s artistic depth.
To celebrate the release, V will hold an offline exhibition titled ‘V type : on-site in Seoul’ from January 20 through February 1 at Frieze House Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul. The exhibition is designed to offer an immersive experience of the photobook’s imagery and will feature exclusive unreleased photos and videos available only on-site.
Meanwhile, V continues to demonstrate his unrivaled popularity in Japan, topping multiple idol rankings for consecutive weeks while selling out major fashion magazines across leading online and offline platforms.
