ZEROBASEONE has extended their activity period by just two months ahead of their scheduled conclusion.
On December 1, 2025, their agency WAKEONE stated, "All nine members of ZEROBASEONE have reached a full agreement to extend group activities for two months." This decision was made as the members united in their desire to repay the deep affection and unchanging love received from their fans.
Consequently, ZEROBASEONE, who were originally scheduled to conclude activities in January of next year, will continue until March. During this period, they plan to hold the '2025 ZEROBASEONE World Tour - HERE & NOW' encore concert and release a new album.
Discussions regarding an extension of ZEROBASEONE's contract had been ongoing ahead of their expiration. However, news that the extension is limited to just two months has left many fans expressing disappointment. Given the nature of a project group where the nine members belong to different respective agencies, significant consultation regarding the extension was required, suggesting that agreeing on even two months was likely a difficult process.
ZEROBASEONE is a nine-member multinational boy group formed through the 2023 Mnet audition program 'Boys Planet', and they have received immense attention since their debut. Starting with their debut album and continuing through their first full-length album 'Never Say Never' released last September, they set a new record as the first K-pop group to have six consecutive albums reach million-seller status, establishing themselves as a global powerhouse.
Furthermore, they swept rookie awards and main prizes at award ceremonies immediately after their debut, earning the title of "Rookie All-Kill" in 2023. They have established themselves as a key figure of the 5th generation of K-pop, demonstrating rapid growth and receiving great love not only domestically but also overseas.
For a team that has achieved such significant global results, an extension of only two months leaves fans with a lingering sense of sadness.
