The Boyz's Kevin is set to resume group activities beginning in January following a period of rest and recovery.
On December 30, his agency One Hundred Label released an official statement announcing Kevin’s return. According to the agency, the artist has shown significant improvement in his condition after receiving sufficient rest and stability.
“As Kevin’s condition has improved through adequate rest and recovery, he will resume activities starting in January,” the statement read. With his return, the upcoming 'THE BOYZ CHINA FANMEETING in Shanghai,' scheduled for January, will proceed with nine members in attendance. Additionally, fans who were previously selected for events related to the release of the 10th mini album ‘a;effect’, which had been postponed, will receive individual schedule updates through the album distributor.
The agency also expressed gratitude toward fans who waited patiently during Kevin’s hiatus. “We sincerely thank the fans who supported and waited for Kevin with love, and we will continue to do our best to ensure that THE BOYZ can promote in a healthy and safe environment,” the statement concluded.
Kevin had temporarily halted activities in November due to health reasons, and his return marks his first official resumption of schedules in approximately two months.
