Stray KidsFelix shared the joy and meaning he finds in giving back.

Felix appeared as a guest on episode 324 of tvN’s variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on December 24.

During the episode, host Yoo Jae Suk praised Felix for his continued acts of generosity, noting, “He does so many admirable things. He donated 200 million KRW (approx. 138,146 USD) on his birthday, and during his vacation last year, he even went to Laos to volunteer with his mother.” The remark was met with warm applause.

Explaining what motivates his philanthropy, Felix reflected on his childhood memories of his great-grandmother. “She wasn’t someone who spoke much. She expressed love through her actions—cooking meals, preparing our sleeping space, laying out blankets, and sleeping together in a big room,” he said. “We spent so much time together that I truly felt, ‘This is what love is.’ I wanted other people to be able to receive that kind of love too.”

Felix added that growing up surrounded by his great-grandmother and grandparents allowed him to receive a great deal of love, which naturally led him to think deeply about sharing and giving from a young age.

I’ve always had the mindset of, ‘Let’s donate even just one dollar,’ ever since I was little,” he continued. “Recently, I started asking myself why I donate and wanted to find a deeper meaning. It happened to be during my vacation, and I thought, ‘I want to do something meaningful with this time.’ So I went to Laos with my mother to volunteer. Seeing things on a screen and seeing them in person are completely different. That’s when it clicked—this is the reason. I’ve received so much love from STAY, and there are so many people out there who need help. The happiness you give comes back to you. I don’t regret it at all, and I was truly happy.”

Felix’s commitment to giving has been consistent. In 2023, he became a member of the Honors Club, a group recognizing donors who have contributed at least 30 million KRW (approx. 20,769 USD). In January 2024, he went on to donate an additional 100 million KRW (approx. 69,231 USD) to UNICEF, becoming the youngest member ever inducted into the UNICEF Honors Club.
