
SISTAR's Soyou has just provided another update on her weight loss and fitness journey.
On December 25, Soyou posted a new vlog to her YouTube channel, updating fans on her activities in Bali. Soyou showed her busy week on vacation - full of gym sessions, grocery shopping, and exercise classes.
One section in particular caught fans' attention, which was when Soyou stepped on the scale to give an update on her current weight. Soyou, who has frequently discussed her 10kg weight loss journey this year and her struggles with gaining weight, revealed that she is currently at her lowest weight yet: 49 kg (108 lbs).
Soyou was shocked at the number, saying: "Oh my god... I lost a lot. Am I working out too hard?"
She revealed that she is actually trying to gain weight now, not lose it, which made her weigh-in number even more shocking. "I'm not even trying to lose weight right now. This is my lowest weight since coming to Bali... I'm actually trying to gain weight right now. So I'm intentionally eating lots of carbs. My goal is, before coming back to Korea, to build more muscle. So let's go hard again! I'll make sure to eat better while I work out."
Soyou also showed her intense workout schedule even while on vacation, exercising multiple times a day while in Bali. She commented, "Are you guys asking if I came to Bali just to work out? Yes, that's right. I can't give it up!" She referred to her exercise schedule as an "endless workout loop."
Soyou concluded the video with a candid reflection on her workout habits, saying, "I think I'm addicted to exercise. That's probably why I keep losing weight."
