Singer and entertainer Shin Jung Hwan is set to reunite with Tak Jae Hoon after a long hiatus.
According to industry sources, Shin Jung Hwan recently participated as a guest on the YouTube channel ‘No Back Tak Jae Hoon.’ This marks the first time the two have appeared together on an entertainment program in eight years, following their previous collaboration on Mnet’s ‘Project S: Devil’s Talent Donation’ in 2017.
Formerly active together as members of the duo Country KkoKko, Shin and Tak reportedly shared candid and lighthearted conversations during the shoot, reminiscing about the past and catching up on each other’s recent lives.
Shin Jung Hwan was sentenced to prison in 2010 for illegal overseas gambling and returned to broadcasting in 2017, though his on screen activities remained limited. In recent years, he has transitioned to YouTube, appearing as a guest on various channels once again drawn attention.
In a recent interview, Shin revealed that he is preparing a new web entertainment show, boldly stating his ambition to “catch up to ‘No Back Tak Jae Hoon.’” His appearance as a guest alongside Tak has sparked curiosity about their renewed chemistry.
The reunion episode featuring Shin Jung Hwan and Tak Jae Hoon will be released on Wednesday, the 17th.
