Singer and producer MC Mong has been ordered to repay a large loan to Cha Ga Won, chairman of p_Arc Group, following legal proceedings over the return of borrowed funds, according to reports.
On December 18, The Fact reported that Chairman Cha first initiated legal action related to the repayment of the loan in June, later withdrawing the case before filing again in November. Notably, the timing of the initial legal action coincided with the period when MC Mong was excluded from his role as chief producer at One Hundred Label, drawing public attention.
With MC Mong, the debtor in the case, failing to file any objection within the legally designated period, the court-issued payment order has reportedly been finalized in recent days. The amount in question is said to total approximately 12 billion KRW (around 8.2 million USD). As of now, One Hundred Label (100RED) has not released an official statement regarding the matter.
Previously, in July, MC Mong personally announced his resignation, stating that he had decided to study abroad due to severe depression and a decline in his health. He co founded One Hundred Label together with Chairman Cha Ga Won.
