Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong has been recognized for his contributions to fostering a culture of giving.
On December 2nd KST, Kim Jaejoong received a citation for his contribution to promoting donation culture at the 1st Seoul Na-neum–Ieum Ceremony, held at the main building of Seoul City Hall.
Seoul Na-neum–Ieum is Seoul’s official sharing brand, embodying the value of a city where the legacy of warm-hearted giving is remembered and respected. At this ceremony, awards were presented to individuals and groups who embody the spirit of sharing and continue to spread its light.
A total of four individuals and three groups were selected for their leading efforts in donation culture, and Kim Jaejoong was among the honorees in the individual category, receiving his commendation directly from the Mayor of Seoul.
Kim Jaejoong has long been known for his steady charitable acts and volunteer work. Beyond personal donations, he has continued his good deeds by donating portions of his album sales proceeds and contributing part of the revenue from his traditional liquor brand.
Recently, Kim Jaejoong participated as the third featured guest in Project Blue, a series-format fundraising program jointly produced by JTBC and UNICEF. He visited the Philippines to meet children facing hardship, offering comfort and hope. This journey will be featured in the upcoming JTBC 'Kim Jaejoong’s Hope Code', airing on December 12th.
Meanwhile, after successfully wrapping up his Japan arena tour on the 30th of last month, Kim Jaejoong will continue meeting fans through a fan meeting in Beijing on the 6th and through the 2025 INCODE TO PLAY: Christmas Show in Macau on the 25th.
