82MAJOR’s Yoon Yechan showcased his diverse charms in a new feature.
On December 1st KST, fashion magazine DAZED released Yoon Yechan’s individual winter-edition pictorial and interview through its official website. Yoon Yechan is a member of 82MAJOR (Nam Seongmo, Park Seokjun, Yoon Yechan, Jo Seongil, Hwang Seongbin, Kim Dokyun).
In the pictorial, Yoon Yechan displayed a free-spirited allure by styling minimal yet sporty looks. He also perfectly pulled off a wide range of styles, shifting seamlessly from a hip street mood to classic fashion.
In the accompanying interview, he reflected on 82MAJOR as they enter their second year since debut. He explained, “82MAJOR’s music doesn’t restrict each member’s individuality. It’s pure confidence—confidence in pushing forward boldly.”
Regarding the group’s identity as a “performance-oriented idol team,” he added, “The stage is where everything becomes the clearest. Fans seem to get energy from seeing us genuinely enjoy performing.”
He also shared heartfelt thoughts about fans, saying, “A ‘trophy’ doesn’t have to look like an actual award,” and continued, “Every time we release music and meet fans who love that music, it feels like another kind of trophy.”
82MAJOR released their fourth mini album Trophy on October 30th and actively promoted its title track of the same name. Showcasing their abilities as self-producing idols, with all members participating in songwriting and lyric writing, the group achieved a career high by surpassing 100,000 first-week album sales. After recently wrapping up domestic promotions, 82MAJOR will expand their global reach with their first fan meeting in Tokyo this December.
