IVE Leeseo wrapped up her 1 year and 7 months as an 'Inkigayo' MC, concluding her journey with the latest broadcast.
Appearing in a festive Santa-themed outfit ahead of Christmas, she introduced K-pop stages with her signature charm and delivered a heartfelt farewell to viewers at the end of the show.
Leeseo first took on the challenge of hosting a music program in April last year. With her natural sense of humor and bright energy, she brought warmth to Sunday afternoons and earned strong affection from viewers. She also flawlessly pulled off various weekly concepts and comedic skits, showcasing her adaptability and chemistry with fellow hosts.
Her 1 year and 7 months on Inkigayo were marked by clear growth. Leeseo mastered point choreographies of newly returning artists and performed them on-air, earning her the nickname “K-pop challenge vending machine.” She also starred as the snack-shop owner in the spin-off web variety 'After Inkigayo, Let’s Go to the Snack Bar', where her witty banter with guests demonstrated her potential as a versatile all-round entertainer.
After her final broadcast, Leeseo expressed her gratitude through Starship Entertainment, saying, “I’m sincerely grateful to DIVE and all the Inkigayo viewers who loved MC Leeseo. Being a music show MC was one of my longtime dreams, and I’m truly happy that I could achieve it through Inkigayo.” She added, “I grew so much thanks to the precious experiences I gained on the show, and I hope you’ll continue watching to see how I keep growing as IVE’s Leeseo.”
This year, IVE captivated listeners with a series of diverse musical attempts—from their pre-release track “REBEL HEART” from their 3rd mini album, to the title track “ATTITUDE,” and “XOXZ” from their 4th mini album released in August.
The group successfully kicked off their second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' at KSPO DOME from October 31 to November 2, and recently announced tour schedule for 2026.
