On December 9, KKUM ENT announced that Girls' Generation's Seohyun signed an exclusive contract with the agency, marking a significant new step in her acting career.
In an official statement, KKUM ENT said, “Seohyun is an actress with solid fundamentals, a sincere attitude toward her projects, and genuine passion for acting. We will provide careful support to help her take even stronger steps forward and remain by her side.”
Seohyun made her debut as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and began her acting career in 2013 with SBS’s 'Passionate Love.' Since then, she has earned acclaim through a wide range of roles in dramas and films, including 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,' 'Bad Thief, Good Thief,' 'Time,' 'Private Lives' and 'The First Night with the Duke.'
She is also set to appear in the upcoming film 'Seeking the King,' scheduled for release in 2026.
