Comedian Park Mi Sun has issued a handwritten apology in response to controversy surrounding a group-purchase promotion for a health supplement.
On the 22nd, Park Mi Sun shared a handwritten letter on her personal social media account, writing, “Unintentionally, I caused discomfort to many of you through this incident. I now realize that I was very short-sighted.”
She continued, “As someone who is also currently fighting cancer, this situation made me realize once again how much I still don’t know. I will continue to learn more and be much more cautious going forward,” expressing her commitment to act more responsibly in the future.
The controversy began after Park Mi Sun posted about a group purchase for blueberry juice on her SNS, saying, “While being ill, the most important thing for me was eating well.” Some netizens raised concerns, claiming that berries may not be suitable for breast cancer patients, which led to criticism and ongoing discussion. As the issue grew, Park Mi Sun chose to personally address the situation and apologize.

Earlier this year, Park Mi Sun revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and temporarily suspended her broadcasting activities. Last month, she appeared on tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block', where she candidly shared her thoughts and emotions during her treatment, earning empathy and support from viewers.
Park Mi Sun concluded her message by thanking her fans, saying, “Please stay healthy, everyone. I’ll return in better health and with a brighter presence.”
