Melon announced the second lineup for the '17th Melon Music Awards' (MMA2025) on November 5. The performers were selected based on Melon’s streaming data and fan votes, showcasing some of the most promising new artists in K-pop.
A group of next-generation talents will take the stage at Gocheok Sky Dome this year, including NCT WISH, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, and IDID.
Leading the lineup, NCT WISH had a remarkable year with their mini albums 'poppop' and 'COLOR.' The latter reached the top of Melon’s “Hot 100” chart, proving their growing popularity among global fans.
ILLIT will also appear on the MMA2025 stage. Their third mini album 'bomb,' released in June, and its title track "Do the Dance" entered the “Top 100” chart, further establishing the group’s strong presence in the industry.
Hearts2Hearts made an impression throughout the year by releasing three albums titled 'The Chase,' 'STYLE,' and 'FOCUS.' Each project highlighted their diverse musical range and strong connection with fans.
Rookie group KiiiKiii gained early attention with their pre-debut track 'I DO ME,' which peaked at No. 3 on the “Hot 100.” Their follow-up song "DANCING ALONE" also attracted significant attention and praise.
ALLDAY PROJECT achieved rapid success with their debut track 'FAMOUS,' which climbed to No. 1 on the “Top 100” just three days after its release. This was the fastest rise to the top since Melon’s recent chart system update.
IDID, a project group formed through Starship Entertainment’s 'Debut’s Plan,' reached an impressive milestone by winning first place on a music show with "CHAN-RAN" only 12 days after debuting.
The '17th Melon Music Awards' will be held under the theme 'Play The Moment.' The event invites fans to experience and celebrate every moment connected through music.
Tickets will be available through Melon Ticket. Gold-tier and higher members can access the first pre-sale on November 24, and the second round of ticketing will open on November 27.
