On November 8, MAMAMOO member and solo artist Whee In held her 'OWHEECE' fan concert in the Philippines. This marked her second solo event in the country, following last year's 'Whee In The Mood [Beyond]' tour.
Whee In opened the fan concert with "Easy" and "Moderato," followed by her cover performances of SHINee's "Hard," ATEEZ's "Work," NCT's "Boss," MONSTA X's "Follow," VIVIZ's "Untie," and ITZY's "Wannabe" after chatting with the audience about the concept of her fan concert tour.
On the reason behind why she chose those songs, Whee In shared that life is "hard," and because of this difficulty, she would "work" hard. The repetitions of this intense effort allowed her to become a "boss," whom people now "follow." Next, having worked so hard, she can now "untie" her necktie and enjoy life, culminating in her becoming the person people "wanna be."
Among the songs on the set list include "Sunny Shower," "25," "Bittersweet," "Butterfly," and "water color." She also surprised the fans with performances of MAMAMOO's songs "gogobebe," "Egotistic," and "HIP." Towards the end of the show, Whee In returned to the stage for the encore performing EXO Baekhyun's "Candy."
As the show neared its end, Whee In relayed her message: “Every time I come here, the passion of MooMoos (MAMAMOO's fandom name) is off the roof. You have the power to light up my mood and give me energy, so I actually automatically think that I want to come here more often. Now, I will be making a promise again to come back to Manila. Because of the numerous flights, flying to different cities, the tiredness was piling up. But looking at your faces, I gained a lot of energy from you. The happy faces of yours are the greatest energy for me. I had a very great time because of you. I can go back to Korea with the feeling of comfort and relief. I was able to feel a different type of fun tonight. I’d like to thank everyone who made this possible and everyone who gave their precious time for this concert.”
