On Joo Wan publicly celebrated fiancée Bang Min Ah’s first performance in 'Maybe Happy Ending', turning their “lovestagram” up a notch just weeks before their November wedding.
On Nov. 1 KST, On Joo Wan posted photos from the 'Maybe Happy Ending' photo wall and casting board with the caption, "It’s such a lovely show. I want to see it again, but getting tickets is like plucking a star," and tagged Bang Min Ah, adding, "So proud." After Bang Min Ah wrote on her account, "We opened our first show of 'Maybe Happy Ending' safely. Please take care of me, Claire," On Joo Wan replied in the comments, "I’m sorry, but there are no tickets now. I’ll work hard to find some and come again."
Bang Min Ah (of Girl’s Day) and On Joo Wan will marry in November. The two first met on the 2016 SBS drama 'Beautiful Gong Shim', stayed in touch as industry colleagues, and reconnected as co-stars in the 2021 musical 'The Days', eventually becoming a couple. After their surprise wedding announcement on Oct. 4 KST, Bang Min Ah wrote, "I now have someone who supports me most closely and steadfastly. I’ll keep challenging what I want to try, receive your cheers, and also protect my family," while On Joo Wan shared, "Thank you to everyone who congratulated us even though I couldn’t tell you in person. I’ll cherish your hearts, care without change, and treat them with sincerity. To Bang Min Ah’s fans: I’ll take good care of her at her side. I know how much strength you are to her, so please keep loving and supporting her."
The musical 'Maybe Happy Ending'—about service robots Oliver and Claire discovering the most human feeling, love—is running at Doosan Art Center’s Yeon-gang Hall in Yeonji-dong, Seoul, through Jan. 25, 2026 KST.
