MONSTA X marked their 10th debut anniversary with a special act of kindness—making a donation in the name of their fans to support underprivileged children in Korea.
On November 12 KST, the domestic NGO Good Neighbors announced, “MONSTA X has donated funds to support children at risk of hunger in Korea ahead of the year-end season.”
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, MONSTA X made the donation under their fandom name MONBEBE. While the donation amount was not disclosed, the funds will be used to provide meal kits, side dishes, and groceries to children facing food insecurity during the upcoming winter break.
The members shared, “These past ten years have been all the more special because we’ve spent them together with our fans. Just as MONSTA X and MONBEBE give each other strength, we hope this act of sharing will also become a source of strength for someone in need.”
MONSTA X has long been active in charitable efforts. They began donating in 2020 to help low-income families affected by COVID-19. In March of this year, they donated 100 million KRW (~68,052 USD) to assist residents and children in areas affected by wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk. The group has also joined The Neighbors Honors Club, an association of major donors recognized by Good Neighbors.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X will release their new U.S. digital single 'baby blue' on November 14 at midnight KST, marking their first American release in about four years since 'The Dreaming' in 2021. The group is also set to perform at the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour next month.
