
Actor Lee Jung Jae made a heartwarming contribution to support underprivileged young women, donating both his prize from the popular TV show 'You Quiz on the Block' and personal funds.
Recently, international development NGO G Foundation (CEO Park Chung Kwan) announced that Lee Jung Jae donated 11 million KRW (about 7,540 USD) to a program providing menstrual products for vulnerable female adolescents.
The donation consists of 1 million KRW (about 7,540 USD) from the 'You Quiz on the Block' prize and an additional 10 million (about 6,853 USD) from Lee Jung Jae’s personal funds. G Foundation stated, “This generous contribution will be used to support young women facing difficulties due to a lack of menstrual products. We sincerely thank actor Lee Jung Jae for sharing his positive influence, allowing these girls to experience safer and more secure daily lives during their menstrual periods. We also look forward to supporting his continued active endeavors.”
Lee Jung Jae appeared as a guest on 'You Quiz on the Block' on November 29. Currently starring in the tvN drama 'Nice to Not Meet You,' he famously promised on the show, “If the first episode exceeds a 3% rating, I will dress as Prince Suyang and sign autographs in Myeongdong.” He also successfully passed the final quiz on the show, winning the 1 million KRW (about 7,540 USD) prize.
