KBS is gearing up to deliver a slate of heart-fluttering short dramas.
On November 27, KBS-2TV announced a portion of the cast for its new anthology project ‘Love : Track,’ featuring Lee Joon, Bae Yoon Jung, Kim Hyang Gi, Jin Ho Eun, and Kwon Eun Bi.
‘Love : Track’ is a collection of ten short dramas, each exploring a different form of love. The series will air two episodes every Wednesday and Sunday from December 14 to 28.
One of the featured works, ‘One Star Love’ (written by Lee Saha, directed by Jung Gwang Soo), is set to premiere on December 24. It follows the meeting between Lee Kang Min (Lee Joon), who boasts a perfect five-star rating on a blind-date app, and Choi Hana (played by Bae Yoon Jung), who holds a one-star score.
Lee Joon stars as data analyst Lee Kang Min, a calculating character who puts absolute trust in dating-app ratings. Bae Yoon Jung takes on the role of Choi Hana, an outspoken wallpaper technician who dislikes being judged.
The youth romance ‘Minji Minji Minji’ (written by Choi Yi Kyung, directed by Lee Young Seo) will also air that day. The story follows three classmates named Minji as they search for the student who left a confession message on a classroom wall.
Kim Hyang Gi plays the ordinary yet sincere Kim Minji, while Jin Ho Eun portrays Yoon Minji, a top student who excels in academics, looks, and sports. Kwon Eun Bi joins as Song Minji, a bright and lovable classmate who helps bridge the dynamics between the three Minjis. Together, the cast is expected to deliver a refreshing portrayal of first love.
Both ‘One Star Love’ and ‘Minji Minji Minji’ will air back-to-back on December 24 at 9:50 PM.
