Former AOA member Yuna has shared stunning maternity photos as she prepares to welcome her first child.
On November 4, Yuna took to social media to post black-and-white portraits of herself and her husband, composer Kang Jung Hoon, gently cradling her baby bump. The images capture the couple’s joy and anticipation, enhanced with heart-shaped emojis and a sketch of a baby’s face over her belly — a tender nod to their soon-to-arrive child, affectionately nicknamed “Gyeouri” (meaning “winter”).
Alongside the photos, Yuna wrote, “Summer has passed, and the long-awaited winter has arrived. Pregnancy hasn’t been easy, but I hope this journey continues to be filled with endless blessings and experiences.” She continued, “Thinking about meeting our baby soon and the journey our family will take together fills me with gratitude and happiness every day.”
Yuna first announced her pregnancy in July, expressing both excitement and humility about becoming a mother. “A beautiful little angel has come to us. It still feels surreal to be called a mom, but I’ll take care of my body and mind as I wait for the day we meet our baby,” she shared at the time.
Yuna debuted with AOA in 2012 and was active in the group until 2020. She married composer Kang Jung Hoon in February 2024. Kang is part of the renowned producing team 'GALACTIKA' (별들의전쟁), known for creating hit songs such as ITZY’s “DALLA DALLA,” Wanna One’s “I.P.U.,” and SISTAR19’s “Ma Boy.”
