
On November 13 KST, Disney+ APEC hosted its 'Disney+ Original Preview 2025' at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Conference Center. On this day, actors including Lee Dong Wook, Kim Hye Joon, Ju Ji Hoon, Shin Min Ah, Lee Se Young, Park Bo Young, Kim Sung Chul, Lee Hyun Wook, and more appeared to discuss their upcoming Disney+ projects.
The streaming platform also strategically enhanced anticipation for some of its most anticipated new series coming in 2026 by unveiling first stills of each project.
First, Disney+ launched a pre-teaser as well as first stills of its much-awaited romantic comedy drama, '21st Century Wife of the Grand Prince' starring IU and Byeon Woo Seok. The story centers around a chaebol heiress named Hee Ju (IU) and the crown prince (Byeon Woo Seok) in a fictional 21st century landscape where Korea is a constitutional monarchy.



Next, came first stills of the webtoon-based fantasy thriller 'Delusion' starring Suzy and Kim Seon Ho. Set in 1935 Gyeongseong, 'Deulsion' tells the story of a painter named Yoon Yi Ho (Kim Seon Ho), who is hired to paint a portrait of a mysterious client named Song Jung Hwa (Suzy).


Also being released in 2026 is 'Gold Land' starring Park Bo Young, Kim Sung Chul, and Lee Hyun Wook. The high-tension drama revolves around a large sum of gold, and various characters who try to claim the gold as theirs.


A viewer favorite from 2024, the original series 'A Shop For Killers' returns with season 2 in 2026. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Joon will reprise their roles as Jung Jin Man and Jung Ji Ahn, bringing even more fast-paced action and unexpected developments.


Finally, one of the most buzzworthy blockbuster series coming in 2026, 'The Remarried Empress' starring Shin Min Ah, Lee Se Young, Ju Ji Hoon, and Lee Jong Suk gave away its first glimpse at the fashion, setting, character profiles, and the overall mood of the grandiose fantasy story. The plot follows empress Navier (Shin Min Ah) of the Eastern Empire, who loses her title after the emperor, Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon), falls in love with a runaway slave, Rashta (Lee Se Young). She then reclaims her title by marrying the prince of the Western Empire, Heinrey (Lee Jong Suk).
