BYU Entertainment announced that girl group ARISE will undergo a restructuring after confirming the departures of members Rinko and Alisa.
In an official statement released on November 3, the agency expressed gratitude to fans for their support and explained that although they waited for a long time, the company and the remaining members Jihu and Jiho decided it was no longer possible to delay ARISE’s group activities.
The notice stated, “Even though Rinko and Alisa’s visas expired, they did not return to the team. After internal discussions, we have confirmed their withdrawal.” The agency added that legal action regarding contract violations is currently underway.
BYU Entertainment shared that ARISE will be restructured and relaunched, with details about the new lineup to be revealed soon.
“Although it’s unfortunate to deliver such news to fans, we ask for your continued interest and support for the new ARISE that will be unveiled in the near future,” the company concluded.
