A YouTube video in which The Born Korea CEO Baek Jong Won announced he would suspend all broadcasting activities has been deleted or set to private.
As of November 24, the May 6 video titled ‘I Will Start Again From the Beginning’ is no longer visible on his channel, although other videos posted before and after remain available. The removed video contained Baek’s apology over franchise management issues, origin labeling violations, misleading advertising, and allegations of “broadcast abuse.” He also declared that he would halt all future broadcasting to focus solely on company management.
The timing of the video’s removal coincides with Baek’s recent return to television through the programs ‘The Chef of South Polar’ and ‘Culinary Class Wars Season 2,’ which recently aired or announced upcoming release dates.

Baek had previously suspended all broadcasting in May after The Born Korea became involved in multiple legal controversies, including violations of the Farmland Act and origin labeling laws. The labeling case has since been forwarded to prosecutors.
According to The Born Korea, Baek’s YouTube channel is undergoing restructuring, with cooking and food-culture content remaining on the main channel and corporate-related videos being moved to the official company channel ‘TBK.’
