WHIB will continue their activities as a seven-member team.
On October 16, the group’s agency C-JeS Studio released an official statement on WHIB’s fan community, announcing member Inhong’s decision to leave the group.

The agency stated, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to AnD (WHIB’s fandom) for their continued support. We regret to share some unfortunate news — member Inhong has expressed his intention to leave the group.”
C-JeS Studio continued, “After careful and in-depth discussions with Inhong and the WHIB members, we have decided to respect his wishes. Therefore, Inhong will be departing from WHIB. The group will continue its future promotions as a seven-member team.”
The agency also added, “We sincerely apologize to fans who have been waiting for WHIB’s comeback for delivering such sudden news. We ask for your warm encouragement and unwavering support not only for WHIB but also for Inhong as he begins a new chapter.”
WHIB, an eight-member boy group under C-JeS Studio, debuted in 2023 with their first single album 'Cut-Out.' The group consists of Kim Junmin, Haseung, Jinbeom, UGeon, Leejeong, Jaeha, Inhong, and Wonjun. Members Kim Junmin and Leejeong also gained recognition through their appearance on Mnet’s survival show 'Boys II Planet,' which concluded last month.
Since their debut, WHIB has released singles such as 'ETERNAL YOUTH : KICK IT,' 'Rush of Joy,' and most recently, 'BANG OUT' in April. With Inhong’s departure, WHIB will move forward as a seven-member group for their upcoming comeback.
