According to media outlet reports on October 10 KST, singer/actor Kim Jung Hoon has been cast in a new drama known as 'Scandal : Pandora's Secret'.
Directed by Kim Jung Soo, 'Scandal : Pandora's Secret' is said to follow the lives of married couples living in an upper-class villa complex, including their secrets, their affairs, and their plans for sweet revenge. Kim Jung Hoon has reportedly been cast as a psychiatrist who moves into the complex and who begins observing his neighbors.
The drama's cast lineup also includes Kang Se Jung, Shin Joo Ah, Kang Eun Tak, etc. It's believed that filming for the series is currently under way.
Meanwhile, Kim Jung Hoon was most previously convicted for causing a vehicle accident while driving under the influence of alcohol in December of 2023. At the time of the incident, Kim Jung Hoon further caused a stir by refusing a breathalyzer test requested by the police. Following his conviction, he was fined 10 million KRW (~ $7,000 USD).
Additionally, in 2019, Kim Jung Hoon became embroiled in a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend over matters including coerced abortion and monetary disputes. The singer/actor also had his driver's license temporarily revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol in July of 2011.
