Actress Seolhyun found a new home. She has officially signed an exclusive contract with The Present Company, becoming labelmates with Shin Se Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop.
On October 29, The Present Company announced the news, stating, “The sincerity and attitude that stem from Seolhyun’s emotions align perfectly with our core value of ‘being in the present.’”
Seolhyun made her debut in 2012 as a member of the girl group AOA, before establishing herself as a versatile actress. Her notable works include the Disney+ series 'Light Shop,' dramas 'The Killer’s Shopping List,' 'Awaken,' 'My Country: The New Age,' 'Summer Strike,' and films 'Memoir of a Murderer' and 'The Great Battle.'
The agency described her as “an actress with both energy and emotional depth,” adding, “Her authenticity and strength have the power to drive meaningful change. We look forward to creating synergy together across diverse fields.”
Currently, Seolhyun is filming Netflix’s upcoming original series 'Show Business' (working title), written by renowned screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung. The project features an impressive cast including Song Hye Kyo, Gong Yoo, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Hanee.
