Yoo Go Woon, a producer at Daekyo Kids' TV, has passed away.
According to Money Today on October 3, Yoo Go Woon died early this morning at the hospice ward of the National Cancer Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. She was 45 years old.
Yoo Go Woon was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2022. At the time, although test results showed abnormal cancer markers, she was unable to receive timely treatment due to managing two programs simultaneously.

Later, her company advised her to resign last year, and she left her position. She filed a workers’ compensation claim with the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service, citing overwork as the cause, but the claim was denied in April.
It is reported that Yoo Go Woon had been preparing an administrative lawsuit from the hospice ward.

Yoo Go Woon began her career in broadcasting as a floor director (FD) for the EBS children’s program 'Bboongbboong-E.' She later joined Daekyo Kids’ TV in 2005 and planned various children’s programs such as 'Mystery Times,' 'Kiwi,' and 'Classic in the Art Room.'
The late Yoo Go Woon’s funeral is being held at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, Funeral Hall 8. The funeral procession will take place at 7:30 AM on the 5th, with burial at Seoul Memorial Park.
