President Lee Jae Myung and First Lady Kim Hye Kyung are confirmed to appear on JTBC’s variety program 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' for a special Chuseok episode.
On October 2, JTBC released a preview video on its YouTube channel titled, "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator Episode 42 – Chuseok Special (with President Lee Jae Myung & First Lady Kim Hye Kyung)."
The teaser featured the caption, “The greatest guest in history is coming", along with a shot of President Lee’s back. His voice was then heard saying, “I am President Lee Jae Myung. Pleased to meet you.” First Lady Kim Hye Kyung also greeted viewers with, “Nice to meet you, I’m Kim Hye Kyung.”
In this Chuseok special, the presidential couple will serve as “K-Food Ambassadors,” introducing seasonal Korean agricultural and seafood products as well as traditional holiday dishes. They will also share personal stories about their favorite Korean meals and nostalgic memories related to Chuseok.
Chefs appearing on the program will prepare creative dishes using Korea’s seasonal ingredients, aiming to appeal not only to Koreans but to international audiences as well.
The Chuseok special of 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,' featuring President Lee and First Lady Kim, will air on October 5 at 9 PM KST.
'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' is a cooking competition show where top chefs create dishes using ingredients from celebrity refrigerators. It is hosted by former announcer Kim Sung Joo and former soccer player Ahn Jung Hwan.
