Singer and musical actress Ock Joo Hyun responded to recent suspicions of undisclosed advertising on her YouTube channel.
On October 21, Ock Joo Hyun uploaded a video titled 'Reading Comments Is Just an Excuse' on her channel, in which she reads and reacts to comments from her viewers.
The clarification comes after her content released on October 17, titled 'Temgu Life,' where she shared her hair care routine aimed at scalp care and preventing hair loss. Following this, some viewers raised concerns that her videos might include hidden advertisements.
In response, Ock Joo Hyun stated, "Speculation without certainty is prohibited. I did this without any sponsorship. Everything was paid for with my own money. Even the products I use in the video were purchased by me."
She added, "'Temgu Life' will continue in this format. I expect similar comments to appear. I have tried products at various price points, and I take pride in experimenting and researching extensively."
Ock Joo Hyun further explained, "I want to explore affordable options and share them with viewers. I want to show that I am committed to thoroughly researching products. I study the ingredients and principles carefully and approach it as a knowledgeable consumer. I will continue 'Temgu Life' with this mindset of a dedicated consumer-researcher."
