Directed by Jang Hoon, the film tells the story of two royal brothers who dream of their own versions of an ideal world after the creation of the legendary painting 'Dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land (Mongyu Dowondo).'

Inspired by the historical tale, the film centers around Grand Prince Anpyeong, the son of King Sejong, who described a utopian vision he saw in a dream to the painter Ahn Gyeon, leading to the completion of the masterpiece within three days. The story unfolds against the dramatic fate of the Joseon Dynasty.

Kim Nam Gil takes on the role of Suyang, a man consumed by ambition to become king. Through 'Mongyu Dowondo,' he reads his brother Anpyeong’s desires and gradually transforms into a ruthless figure, showcasing the complex layers of his character.

Park is also expected to display a firm and resolute philosophy as he stands against his brother’s opposing beliefs, hinting at a compelling transformation.

Lee Hyun Wook plays Ahn Gyeon, Anpyeong’s artistic companion and the painter of Dream Journey to the Land of Peach Blossoms. As a steadfast man who refuses to bow before power, he is set to bring new depth to the film, presenting a fresh side of himself.

Known for his ability to move fluidly between genres, Jang is expected to deliver a visually striking and emotionally layered portrayal of Joseon’s time and people. The film began full-scale production following its October 14 kickoff.
