Actors Park Bo Gum and Kim Nam Gil have been cast in the new historical film 'Dream Journey to the Land of Peach Blossoms'.
The film takes its inspiration from a historical artifact of the same name, comprised of a painting by the artist Ahn Gyeon and the accompanying writings and poems of Grand Prince Anpyeong, produced in 1447 during the Joseon dynasty.
The story itself will follow the events of the Gyeyu Coup of 1453, a violent political coup led by King Sejong's second son, Grand Prince Suyang. Jang Hoon of 'A Taxi Driver' will direct the piece, produced by Dodoong Pictures. Kim Nam Gil will take on the role of Grand Prince Suyang, while Park Bo Gum is set to play Grand Prince Anpyeong.
