On October 10, tvN's new variety show 'Green Bean, Red Bean spin-off: Joy Pops Laugh Pops,' which premieres on October 17, released a teaser video for its first episode. The clip showcases the unpredictable and adventurous journey to Mexico taken by the trio of close friends, sparking excitement among viewers and fans.
In the preview, the three are seen working hard from farming to running a cafeteria in 'Joy Pops Laugh Pops,' living up to the saying "You reap what you sow." After their hard work, they finally embark on an overseas exploration, but face a series of unexpected challenges, such as communication issues with locals due to language barriers and trouble getting through gates. Viewers are curious to see how the three will overcome these unpredictable situations.
Another funny moment occurs when Lee Kwang Soo's feelings get hurt. When Kim Woo Bin asks whether to order a cheese quesadilla or a chicken quesadilla, Lee Kwang Soo chooses chicken, but Do Kyung Soo overrules him, saying, “We’re already having chicken enchiladas, so let’s go with cheese quesadillas.” Kwang Soo, looking flustered, reacts, “Didn’t I say chicken?” building anticipation for their hilarious chemistry that continues even in Mexico.
However, the trio’s teamwork faces even bigger challenges ahead. In one scene, as they head toward their car, Kim Woo Bin anxiously asks, “Then what should we do now?” and PD Na Young Seok lets out a deep sigh, saying, “What are we supposed to do?” heightening curiosity about the crisis they encounter.
tvN's 'Joy Pops Laugh Pops' follows Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Woo Bin, and Do Kyung Soo, who succeeded in the missions of 'Green Bean, Red Bean,' as they travel to Mexico in search of new insights to help develop their fictional company GBRB Food.
