‘Groom-to-be’ Lee Jang Woo revealed that he has officially given up dieting.
Appearing on YouTube channel Lee Joo Seung’s Wishlist on October 26, Lee mentioned his fiancée Cho Hye Won, saying, “We’ve been together for eight years, and we’ve never had a single fight.” He added, “I used to be a very hot-tempered person — I fought a lot in the past — but strangely, with Hye Won, we’ve never argued. When either of us is in a bad mood, we just don’t touch the subject at all. Sometimes we go through the day only exchanging one or two words.”

Lee also shared how the two first met: “When she appeared in the drama 'My Only One' in a minor role, I saw her for the first time and was completely struck. After filming ended, I sent her a message on social media asking, ‘Do you have a boyfriend?’ Two days later, she replied, ‘Not at the moment, but why do you ask?’ So I said right away that I’d like to take her out to dinner,” he recalled with a smile.

He laughed as he added, “Hye Won is 174 cm tall and weighed just over 40 kg when we met, but she still hasn’t gained weight since. She’s the one who usually suggests we eat late-night snacks — sometimes we even play rock-paper-scissors to decide.”
Recently, Lee admitted, “I don’t diet anymore.” He explained, “Life is short, and I think eating good food happily is better than chasing wealth or fame. I finally feel like I’m living my own life, not someone else’s. When I’m in the kitchen cooking, I lose track of time.”
Ahead of his wedding on November 23, Lee reflected, “In my twenties, I gained popularity for my looks, but that wasn’t everything. Living as my true self now makes me happiest.”
