IVE member Rei continues to demonstrate her thoughtful and socially conscious approach to stardom, captivating fans not only with her visuals but also with her words and actions.
On October 26 KST, Rei shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the 'TikTok Awards 2025', which took place the previous day at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium. She accompanied the post with a heartfelt caption:
“Don’t forget that you can be more beautiful than anyone else when you are your most authentic self.”
Rei, who received the Best Trend Leader award during the event, was seen backstage in an elegant off-shoulder dress. Her ensemble featured a voluminous ribbon detail paired with a neatly tied low ponytail, amplifying a sense of refined sophistication. The look was widely praised for balancing youthfulness with graceful maturity.
In her message, Rei reflected on the values celebrated at the event, stating,
“I believe everyone has the right to express themselves freely. I’m grateful to the TikTok Awards for reminding me of that, and I deeply thank our fans, DIVE, whom I love so much.”
Rei’s latest post is just one of many examples of her ongoing commitment to advocacy and awareness. In October 2023, she attended W Korea’s breast cancer awareness event, later sharing in a live broadcast:
“Even though my experience was different, I understand that pain is universal. I had been through health challenges too, and I hoped to contribute to better awareness. I made sure to study beforehand to better understand the cause.”
Earlier that year, Rei took a temporary hiatus after experiencing symptoms of heart palpitations and chest discomfort. After a period of medical care and rest, she returned to activities one month later. Five months afterward, she posted a handwritten letter to fans, expressing her gratitude and reaffirming her commitment to both health and music.
With a growing reputation for both empathy and elegance, Rei continues to set herself apart as a meaningful presence in the K-pop industry—on stage, online, and beyond.
