Hearts2Hearts, the latest girl group from SM Entertainment, officially made their comeback on the 20th with their first mini album "Focus".
Carrying on the signature “innocent charm” of SM’s first- and second-generation girl groups like S.E.S and Girls’ Generation while adding a refreshing fifth-generation flair, Hearts2Hearts has already been hailed as the next powerhouse of K-pop.
Their debut album "The Chase", released in February, sold over 400,000 copies in its first week — the highest first-week sales ever recorded for a girl group debut album.

This marks their third comeback this year, following in the footsteps of SM’s proven hit pattern where groups like aespa and f(x) both found breakout success with their third releases. Fans are now watching to see if Hearts2Hearts will continue that streak.
"Focus" showcases the group’s expanding musical spectrum, featuring six tracks across diverse genres including house, new jack swing, and city pop.
The title track “Focus” — also the name of the mini album — highlights Hearts2Hearts’ sleek and confident charm, blending addictive house rhythms with sharp choreography inspired by waacking and voguing.
Last month, the pre-release single “Pretty Please” introduced a retro new jack swing sound, quickly climbing YouTube’s trending videos list. Listeners praised it as “a revival of classic SM style for the fifth generation,” noting its nostalgic yet modern appeal.
At their showcase held on the 20th, Hearts2Hearts unveiled their first live performance of “Focus.” The members described the song as “a statement piece meant to capture everyone’s attention — just as its title says.”
“‘The Chase’ introduced who we are, and "Style" helped us get closer to the public,” they said. “‘Focus’ is the song where we want every spotlight on us.”
