Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea has unveiled a new pictorial featuring Hwa Sa, who made her comeback on the 15th with the digital single “Good Goodbye.”
In the shoot, Hwa Sa debuted a short hairstyle and exuded a natural, relaxed charm. She set aside her usual charismatic stage image to reveal a warm and genuine side of herself.

In the accompanying interview, Hwa Sa said of her new song, “This is a song I sang not as ‘Hwa Sa,’ but as Ahn Hyejin.” She continued, “Rather than the dazzling performer on stage, I wanted to write this song like a sincere letter — as a person speaking honestly from the heart.”
She also opened up about her struggles while writing the lyrics. “I kept asking myself, ‘Why can’t I write this better?’ and revised the lyrics hundreds of times,” she recalled. “But one day, the words just started flowing naturally. I realized that the simpler, more spontaneous phrases often felt the most sincere.”
More of Hwa Sa’s photos and behind-the-scenes stories from “Good Goodbye” can be found in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea and on its website, while a special video interview featuring a live performance of the new song will also be released on the magazine’s YouTube channel.
